De-Aging VFX
Using a digital double to make an actor appear younger or older — used in feature films and TV drama.
De-aging is the VFX technique of using a digital double of an actor at a different age (younger Robert De Niro in The Irishman, younger Mark Hamill in The Mandalorian). Built from archival footage and photogrammetry. EquipVerse Cinema and Film Digital Double packages support de-aging workflows.
