Performance Capture
Capturing an actor's body, face and voice in one synchronised performance — used for hero VFX work.
Performance capture (perf-cap) is the synchronous recording of an actor's body, face and voice as a single performance — used for hero VFX work where the digital character must convey the actor's nuance (Andy Serkis' Caesar, Zoe Saldaña's Neytiri). EquipVerse Cinema and Studio packages support perf-cap with rig handoff to Vicon / OptiTrack stages.
