Motion Capture (Mocap)
Recording the motion of a performer for application onto a digital character.
Motion capture (mocap) is the recording of a performer's motion via marker-based optical systems (Vicon, OptiTrack), inertial suits (Rokoko, Xsens) or hybrid systems (Movella, Manus). The recorded data is then retargeted onto a digital character. EquipVerse retargets all mainstream mocap formats including FBX, BVH and USD.
